Off-duty ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ cop Calvin Au wanted street justice, a Crown prosecutor argued on the closing day of his trial. He is being charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm following an altercation that saw 19-year-old Chadd Facey die in a hospital hours after encountering Au and another off-duty officer for a Kijiji transaction. A group is arguing the medical assistance in dying law forces some people with disabilities to feel like death is their only option. The coalition behind the Charter challenge includes a host of disability rights organizations, despite some who might not agree with the challenge. .
